A straightforward account of the information AETERA LAB uses, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

This notice explains how AETERA LAB handles information when you use this North America-facing cultural and lifestyle site. AETERA shares Chinese Feng Shui, time wisdom, and related cultural context for reflection and everyday living. Its tools provide cultural and educational material rather than professional advice or an evaluation of the reader.
Essential site operation remains available when you choose Essential only. AETERA stores your privacy choice so it can be respected. Optional measurement does not begin until you choose Allow analytics. If you later decline, AETERA stops its first-party tracker and disables Google Analytics 4 collection; you can reopen Privacy Choices from the footer. The isolated Assessment V2 preview does not run analytics even when a prior choice allowed them.
When you allow analytics, AETERA creates first-party visitor, session, page-load, and event identifiers and records limited page, delegated click, scroll, and tool events. The record may include a timestamp, page path, landing and referral context without URL query strings, campaign tags, device class, browser language or time zone, viewport size, consent state, and an internal-test marker. AETERA sends mapped events to Google Analytics 4 and stores its first-party event contract in Feishu/Lark. Vercel Analytics is not used.
The released Reflection Map is deterministic. It uses the focus, observable friction, and practice-mode choices you select to produce a support phase and three actions. The optional seven-day practice is assembled in your browser from reviewed local rules and the same result. It makes no request to DeepSeek or another AI provider. When analytics is allowed, opening the plan may record one bounded practice-plan event; that measurement is separate from creating the plan.
The Chinese Element Calculator processes the year and optional month you enter in your browser. A result appears only after a valid explicit submission. When analytics is allowed, AETERA may record the explicit-submit method, resulting element and stem, and whether a January or February boundary warning appeared. The entered year and month are not sent to GA4 or the ordinary AETERA event record.
The released Reflection Map follow-up form requires an email address and a separate, explicit agreement to receive the requested follow-up. The email and the bounded Reflection Map choices go only to the Feishu/Lark lead store. Email is not sent to GA4 or ordinary analytics events. The form does not accept a name or free-text message in this release, and a failed lead-store write is shown as a submission failure.
Vercel hosts and delivers the site and necessarily processes connection information for that purpose. AETERA does not store raw IP addresses in Feishu/Lark. When a private server salt is configured, AETERA may retain a one-way network hash for traffic-quality review. It may also retain country and region values supplied by the hosting edge. It does not retain edge city data in its analytics or lead records.
AETERA does not yet publish fixed deletion periods for Feishu/Lark event and contact records. Records are kept while useful for the measurement or requested-contact purpose and are reviewed as the program develops. You can ask a question or request correction or deletion of information you submitted by emailing editorial@aeteralab.com. Google and Vercel maintain their own service records under their terms and settings.
AETERA does not sell personal information and does not currently use ad pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising.
AETERA may update this notice when the released site or its service providers change. The effective date below identifies the current version.
